Choosing Between Two-Channel & Four-Channel Training
Ways to Purchase EEGer Home Use
Home Use licenses & equipment can be purchased by the Supervising Clinician or their client (known as the Home-User). Which option you choose will depend on a couple of factors, but the pricing & requirements remain the same:
If the Supervising Clinician makes the purchase:
The system is owned by the clinician, so is typically loaned or rented to the home-user for the duration of their training plan. After sessions are completed, the system can be returned to the clinician and provided to a different home-user.
The home-user doesn’t need to interact directly with EEGer, which can help simplify the purchase process or be preferred for privacy reasons.
The clinician can configure the system prior to providing it to their home-user, which simplifies initial setup.
Helps simplify billing & paperwork through the clinician’s existing account.
Equipment & license costs can be absorbed & billed with session fees.
If the Home-User makes the purchase:
They own the system, which makes it easier to work with different supervising clinicians in the future.
Neurofeedback Equipment & Supplies
We offer equipment bundles that include the key components for getting started. Some disposable items like rubbing alcohol, cotton balls, and wipes will need to be purchased separately. Both the clinician & home-user will need access to computers that meets EEGer’s minimum requirements to install and use the software.
Our equipment bundles include:
A high-quality EEG amplifier (two-channel or four-channel).
A full set of EEG electrodes.
Samples of conductive paste & prep gel.
A USB security dongle for accessing the software.
Technical support during setup, training, and three-months after starting.
The final cost for equipment will vary depending on shipping fees and the specific model of amplifier included. If the clinician already has spare equipment, or the home-user has equipment from working with another system, it may work with EEGer Home Use. Please write to us and we’re happy to assist.
Two-Channel Equipment Bundle: $1225
Four-Channel Equipment Bundle: $1755
Accessing the Software
Both the supervising clinician and home-user will need access to the EEGer software. The clinician uses their system to create & make adjustments to the training plan, and the home use system is used to run the session.
There is a one-time setup fee of $195 to begin using the software, which includes the first month of access. Afterward, there is a recurring $95 monthly fee to access the software.
There is no minimum commitment, and access can be paused or stopped on a month-to-month basis. The supervising clinician is responsible for setting the specific training plan, number of sessions available, and how often the system can be used for training. There are no restrictions placed on the system by EEGer, with the supervising clinician being responsible for the appropriate use of the equipment & software.
