Julie Giroux, Clinical Counselling & Psychotherapy
I work with adults 1:1 in individual therapy, primarily online. I specialize in working with trauma, stress and navigating big transitions. I have made a point of training in a variety of therapeutic approaches to facilitate trauma processing, help people to get unstuck from unhelpful patterns, and develop nervous system regulation. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck in unhelpful patterns and experiencing anxiety, sleep disturbances, pain and other forms of nervous system dysregulation. Many clients say they have done "talk therapy" and are looking to go deeper in their healing. I work collaboratively and enjoy integrating different approaches to really meet each individual. I have a special interest in supporting health professionals including other mental health clinicians, and first responders.
